The composition is formed to express the dynamism and playful in nature. Elements and components that represent learning, making, decisions, etc.converge at a core, yet hiding and reveling certain messages. the movement is induced by a cycle of discovering text and images. All of which rest on economic and ecological setting.
Your collaged sculpture has a lot of rich imagery. I read a sequential order that is created by the powerful parallel frames: it is shown most powerfully in the lower right image. It could be interesting to work with framed views that bring your attention to specific sub areas of a larger vista (as in a Chinese garden).
ReplyDeleteI am trying to understand how the varied geometry of the secondary pieces connect with the main spine. I perceive that pieces that are aligned are coming from the same world; ones that are oblique are challenging that order. If more of the pieces were raised off of the ground plane, it would have more energy and tension. I'm not able to read how the words are reinforcing the images; perhaps they would have more power if they were set amidst supporting imagery. I appreciate the energy that comes through. You could use color to strengthen the roles of each of the elements, whether unifying like pieces or contrasting those in opposition.
I wasn't clear about how your political message intersects with the scientific agenda. It is about using our intellectual abilities to jump start economic opportunities?
